t42's founders were among the global pioneers of fleet management, building a deep technological legacy that dates back to 1996. They established an international network that today spans over 55 countries, with more than one million devices installed worldwide.
This operational experience led to the founding of Starcom PLC in 2004, which scaled that expertise into a global infrastructure. In 2013, the company went public on the London Stock Exchange (AIM: TRAC) – a listing that gives clients the stability, transparency, and financial foundation expected of a regulated, publicly accountable business.
In December 2021, we repositioned our business to focus on the global shipping container tracking opportunity: the largest unsolved problem in global logistics. Today, t42 operates across 55 countries, with over 1 million devices deployed and 150 technology partners worldwide.

Mr. Rosenberg began his career with the merchant bankers Samuel Montagu and Co. He then co-founded a global healthcare services company and held several Chairman and Director positions at AIM-quoted corporations and prominent media companies. Michael chaired the British Healthcare Export Council and had previously served as Chairman of the DTI's Committee and as a Director of the China Britain Business Council. In 1994, Michael was awarded the OBE for services on trade with Hong Kong.
